Are you seeking a new beginning to your life? Are you now ready for change?
Then, THORMINC is offering you an R.S.V.P.
(RESOLVE TO STOP VIOLENCE PROJECT) that is conducive
to your process in change.
THORMINC is contracted with the Florida Department of Corrections.
A portion of your subsistence fees is paid by the State which enables
to afford quality housing as you become gainfully employed.
THORMINC is located directly on a bus line and conveniently located
near downtown so that you may easily get to work, doctor appointments,
probation office, shopping and other free city activities.
Success at your probation orders is key to your Resolving to
Stop Violence. You will have free access to Pastoral counseling,
group meetings and spiritual enrichment.
You will also have access to free clothing, shoes and transportation
until you get your first paycheck.
THORMINC realizes that everyone has goals that they would like to
achieve THORMINC is collaborated with partners throughout the city
to work with you to reach those goals. THORMINC works with you to
ensure that you reach all of your goals, whether it is to start your
own business, purchase a home and grow your personal savings account.
If you are applying for Social Security, please get as much of your
medical information us as possible. Acquiring this information will
speed up the process of getting you approved for your benefits.
This process is only to those who have either been receiving benefits
prior to going into prison or if you have been incarcerated longer than
12 months and you have documented proof of your disability or illness
while incarcerated.
